Cry For Help

Can't keep on pretending anymore
That's not what life is for.
Can't give another fake smile
When I know I'll break down in a while.
My feelings bottled up, wants to be set free
They're the only genuine part of me.
And as the tears roll and you wonder why
What could have led me to start to cry.
Take a look in the mirror, the answer is there
I am crying right now because you don't care.

Ice, ice, isolation.
Cold, cold, misinterpretation.

So I sit here alone, day by day
Writing these poems giving my soul away.
Let this be a lesson for next time
Emotions are not a game, this poem's not a stupid rhyme
It's a cry for help.
