This one step could save your skin

 
Here at GL HQ an intern spilled recently that nobody ever told her she was supposed to be wearing a daily SPF (crazy, right?). Naturally, we immediately had to make sure we educate our other GL girls on the importance of the matter! Even if it’s not summer at the beach, your skin is still affected by the sun (psst: even when it’s not sunny!) so don’t forget the all-important SPF.

Here’s why:

Wearing SPF is important all year long, even when it doesn’t seem like the sun is out. That’s ‘cause there are two types of rays that can bust through the cloud cover and cause some seriously concerning issues to your skin. Not only can it cause wrinkling and premature aging, but also more serious problems like sunburn and skin cancer.

    2. SPF moisturizer

    Using a moisturizer with added SPF is a super simple way to add the skin protectant into your life without tacking on an extra step to your routine.     3. SPF foundation

    Foundation with built-in SPF comes in many different forms now like liquid, powders and creams. Update your makeup routine with a liquid foundation that boasts a high SPF 25—but check that it’s oil free so it won’t make you shiny. Apply this with your fingers for a sheer and flawless “your skin, but better” look.
