The quick guide to French skincare

If there's one beauty market that can get overwhelming, it's skincare. Skincare lives in the worlds of social media, celebrities, cosmetics and dermatology all at once. To try and simplify things this summer, we're giving you a quick guide to French skincare and affordable products we *love*. So picture yourself getting ready to go to sleep ce soir, and we'll walk you through a skincare routine filled with some of our from-experience-faves when it comes to French skincare.

Step 1: Remove makeup

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water Makeup Remover, $19

One of the age-old tips of skincare is to always remove your makeup. This makeup remover definitely does the trick.

Step 2: Cleanse

Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash for Oily Skin, $13.99

Next, wash your woes away with a cleanser like this luxurious one. Also be sure to pay attention to what works best for your kind of skin.

Step 3: Moisturize

Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer with Niacinamide, $23

Then, restore the moisture back into your skin with a good moisturizer. This one is by the same brand as the cleanser, as its products tend to be no-nonsense, feel nice on the skin and aren't impossibly inaccessible.
