This is everything you need in your concert starter pack

Did you snag tickets to Olivia Rodrigo's GUTS tour this year? Finally jetsetting across the pond to catch Taylor perform at Wembley Stadium? Whether it's your first concert or 50th go-around, there are a few essentials every concert girlie should have in her bag. Here is everything you need to have the best concert experience, like, ever...

Earplugs

@designmilkeveryday

The first must-have in your bag? Earplugs. Concerts can get super loud (did you know that after three hours at a concert, you could lose your hearing temporarily?). Especially for the hearing-sensitive girlies, earplugs make the music sound so much clearer by filtering out the excessive noise (and yes, you can still hear your fave just fine). Plus, they also prevent muffled hearing the next day and protect your ears from long-term damage—bc we def want to enjoy the next concert we go to!

Clear mini bag

@daebop.official

One thing you don't want to forget is a bag to carry everything in. Clear bags are usually required in most venues. And some venues have bag size restrictions, so make sure you look up your venue policy before your concert. Bringing a bag makes your concert experience hands-free, so you can sing and dance to your faves without worrying about holding your phone/wallet/lip gloss.

Wireless power bank charger

Wireless Portable Charger, Amazon, $37

Concerts can easily last more than three hours (Eras Tour, we're looking at you!)—and that's not even counting the opening acts. This can take a toll on your phone battery as you are snapping pre-concert pics and TikTok livestreaming your fave songs. A wireless portable charger can be a game changer so you don't have to constantly worry about finding an outlet.

Portable fan

It can get *srsly* hot in both outdoor and indoor venues, especially during the warmer months—aka festival szn. Bringing a portable fan can keep you cool and comfortable, so you can dance all night long without breaking too much of a sweat. Psst: Don't forget to charge it or add batteries the night before.

Hair tie

Stashing a few hair ties in your bag can help keep your hair out of your face as you dance the night away. After all, bows are the hottest new trend rn. It also doesn't hurt to keep a few extras in your concert bag—just in case one of your besties needs one, too.

Collapsable water bottle

H2O is key to having an amazing concert experience. Water can get expensive at venues, and it can be easy to forget to drink water while you are busy belting your lungs out to your fave songs. A collapsable water bottle can be easily stored in your bag and keeps you hydrated. (Just remember, some venues won't let you bring in liquids, so you may have to carry it in empty and fill it up once you're inside.)
