GL's five favorite Dr. Seuss reads

It’s the rhyme master’s birthday, and we want to celebrate by sharing our Dr. Seuss faves. From Hop On Pop to The Lorax, his books are known worldwide. So did your childhood classics make our cut? Read on to find out.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go
If you’ve graduated elementary school, middle school, or high school, there’s an excellent chance you’ve had a piece of this book read to ya. This is one of our favorites because of the sentimental value it holds (not that we’re trying to get all sappy on ya!) And it can always pick you up by reminding you, “Oh, the places you’ll go! There is fun to be done! There are points to be scored. There are games to be won.” BUY the book now!

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
Who didn’t learn to read with this book? We know we did! It’s the book that taught us to count—and it’s even had shirts made after it. We totally adore this timeless rhyme-ful classic. BUY the book now!

Horton Hears A Who
Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Jesse McCartney all helped make this book a hit in the film industry. But let’s be honest, it’s a top pick without ’em. A story that reminds you seeing isn’t believing, and even the littlest things in life matter (especially if you’re a Who!) BUY the book now!

Green Eggs and Ham
Do you like green eggs and ham? Do you know Sam I Am? Chances are, you def know Sam I Am. This is an all time Dr. Seuss fave. Until this book, who thought of eggs and ham together? Actually, who thought of GREEN eggs? Who cares? We love this no matter what! BUY the book now!

The Cat in the Hat
We couldn’t leave this one out! Not only was this book made into a movie, but it has its own ride at Universal Studios, too. Ever been to Universal Studios? No one can argue that this classic was the book that defined Dr. Seuss. BUY the book now!
