You Wrote It
This poem by a GL reader reminds us that we are all in this together
She has a stomach
She has hips
She has a chest
She has none of the above.
She has cancer
She has asthma
She has allergies
She has none of the above.
She is a lesbian
She is trans
She isn't a virgin
She is none of the above.
She has been through abuse
She has been through pain
She has been through betrayal
She has been through none of the above.
She represents all of us girls,
Different, yet same.
We are bonded together as one
One she,
One me,
One you.
