Get ready for *the cutest* dessert of the summer: ice cream tacos

Ice cream is everyone's fave summer treat. But what if we told you that ice cream could be elevated? Into a taco! Honeycomb Creamery in Cambridge MA makes delicious homemade ice cream tacos every Tuesday. And you won't believe how cute they are!

Some of their tacos are created to imitate other desserts. Try the tiramisu taco (a chocolate waffle cone filled with coffee ice cream, homemade chocolate lady fingers, dipped in dark chocolate and topped with Kahlua whipped cream and cocoa powder) or the birthday cake taco (vanilla waffle cone filled with chocolate chip ice cream and homemade vanilla cake, dipped in chocolate and topped with rainbow sprinkles).

If you stopped by in the fall, you might be lucky enough to get the caramel apple crisp taco (a vanilla waffle cone filled with salted caramel ice cream, roasted cinnamon apples, cinnamon white chocolate and homemade granola.)

Some of the tacos are seasonal, like the summery beach day taco (vanilla cone with toasted coconut ice cream, dipped in white chocolate, rolled in graham crackers and decorated with whipped cream).

In the spring, flavors might be chocolate covered strawberry taco (vanilla waffle cone filled with strawberry ice cream, dipped in chocolate and topped with sprinkles, white chocolate and a chocolate dipped strawberry) or the May flowers taco (matcha waffle cone filled with Bunny Tracks ice cream, dipped in chocolate shell and topped with chocolate crunchies).

You can even celebrate the holidays at Honeycomb with the creepy cone for Halloween (chocolate chip ice cream, dipped in chocolate shell and topped with honeycomb and sprinkles), the turkey tacos at Thanksgiving (sweet potato & maple ice cream, dipped in chocolate and covered with homemade chocolate crunchies) and the gingerbread tacos for Christmas (chocolate waffle cone filled with gingerbread chocolate chip ice cream, dipped in white chocolate and topped with nonpareils).

Of course, I wouldn't be able to talk about Honeycomb Creamery without mentioning my fave taco: the s'mores taco. A chocolate waffle cone filled with malted vanilla ice cream, topped with toasted marshmallow and graham cracker crumbs and dipped in chocolate. It's delish.
