Keep Your Skin Feelin Fab During Crazy-Hot Workouts

From sports camps to mid-morning jogs, exercising outdoors is part of summer vacay. But the combo of tonsa sweat and sunscreen is disgusting at best. No worries!

We’ve got ways to keep your complexion feeling nice and cool when you’re under the hot, hot sun. The best part? You’ll steer clear of breakouts if you follow these tried ‘n’ true tips.

Swap You Sunscreen
Obvi, SPF is a must. Avoid the regular formulas for sporty outings and opt for a dry-touch, sweat-proof combo. You’ll avoid the grease and keep your skin protected from the harmful sun. Don’t forget to reapply after wiping your brow, toweling off or sweating tons.

Join the Band
Speaking of sweating, if a few minutes on the field leaves you drenched, consider wearing a bandana, hat or sweatband to keep that perspiration off your face and out of your eyes. A classic trick? Pour ice water in your hat and pop it on your head. Refreshing!

Wash Up
As soon as you’re done with your workout, you gotta wash your face and change your clothes. No loungin’ in soaked sports bras ‘n’ tees. Staying in icky clothes is a fast-track to backne or other breakouts. Keep a full change of clothes in your gym bag—and use ‘em post-shower. Don’t forget to dry off totally before getting into your fresh threads, OK?
