What happened when Miranda Cosgrove met Michelle Obama?
What we think is even more awesome, though, is that the First Lady has teamed up with Joining Forces, a program that supports and honors military families.
In this special dedication episode, Carly and Spencer are disappointed that their dad, Colonel Shay, who has been overseas, had to cancel his trip home. To Carly’s surprise, Sam, Freddie and Gibby transmit a live feed of their next webcast to Colonel Shay. When the iCarly webcast catches the attention of government agencies, Mrs. Obama makes a surprise appearance to share her support to military families and praise Carly’s friends for what they did. We’ve heard that the First Lady even shows off her moves during some Random Dancing!
But, before “iMeet The First Lady” premieres, the stars of iCarly will make appearances at four screening events across the country for military families this week. Where are the remaining events they’re headed to? Check it out:
-
Wednesday, Jan. 11 -- Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn.
-
Thursday, Jan. 12 -- Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Fort Dix, N.J.
-
Friday, Jan. 13 -- Hayfield Secondary School in Alexandria, Va.
We can’t wait to see “iMeet The First Lady!” Be sure to tune in with us Monday, Jan. 16, at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon.
