Must List

Here's everything we know about the 2024 Grammys

It's almost time for *the* music award show of the szn! This year's Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. ET at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Whether you're counting down the days and can't wait to watch every second or won't be able to catch it this year, we've got you covered with all the most important deets. Here's everything about this year's Grammys that we're most excited for...

The host

You may be wondering who will be cracking jokes and introducing performers this year. The answer? One of the funniest comedians (and authors, and podcasters and TV hosts...what doesn't he do?), Trevor Noah. This will be his fourth year in a row hosting. And there's a reason for it: Trevor brings an exuberant, zesty energy to the show.

The performances

Some of the *best* parts of the whole show are the live performances! Wondering who to expect? Grammy veteran Billy Joel will hit the keys and sing some of his classics (and who knows? Maybe he'll break out into his new song that comes out Feb. 1). SZA—who has nine nominations this year—will also perform, in addition to Billie Eilish, Joni Mitchell, U2, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Luke Combs and Burna Boy.

The nominations

While there are *loads* of nominations, here are some of the nominated songs we're most excited about:

"Anti-Hero" (Taylor Swift)

Our queen Taylor Swift released the most relatable tune in Oct. 2022. Taylor *totally* opens up about her struggles with perfection and comparison in the vulnerable and catchy tune "Anti-Hero." There's no surprise that it was nominated for best song!

"Flowers" (Miley Cyrus)

The self-love anthem we didn't know we needed? That would be the absolute bop dropped by Miley on Jan. 12, 2023. The perf song for any dance party, this one makes us feel nothing but confident and unstoppable. Because it's true—you *can* buy yourself flowers!

"What Was I Made For? [From the Motion Picture "Barbie"]" (Billie Eilish)

We'd be lying if we said this song hasn't made us tear up. You may know this song from Barbieor maybe it's found its way onto your FYP. Either way, you can probably agree that this song could not possibly be any more heart-breakingly relatable and beautiful.

"Vampire" (Olivia Rodrigo)

Olivia did it again with this total banger! This song perfectly captures heartbreak and teen angst through relatable lyrics and a catchy tune. "Vampire" is totally worthy of scream-singing in the car, which in our books, means it's *so* Grammy-worthy.

"Kill Bill" (SZA)

It's safe to say that this song pretty much took over the internet this year. And that SZA is a total icon—and rightfully so! Each of her songs gives off total girl boss energy—and this one is no exception.

"Dance the Night [From Barbie The Album]" (Dua Lipa)

Dua Lipa's upbeat tune featured in Barbie during the memorable dance scene that got us all dancing along (IYKYK) starkly contrasts "What Was I Made For"—but is amaze in its own way! It's impossible *not* to dance along.

For a longer list of noms, check out the official Grammy website. And BTW, make sure to look out for the three new categories this year: Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album and Best Pop Dance Recording. There's no doubt that this year's Grammys will be v. much worth tuning into!
