What does your handbag say about you?

Every fashionista knows that her handbag is the one must-have item to complete a fab look. They’re also pretty handy to store your everyday needs: your cell, a pack of gum, lipgloss, iPod and other essentials.

A purse may show what you need for the day, but what else does it say about you? How to Tell a Woman by Her Handbag by Kathryn Eisman gets inside the heads of the girls who carry their canvas tote or even those with their fave designer suitcase.

This adorable little book (available in pink) features 39 different kinds of bags that any girl could have. Each bag listed shows a cute hand-drawn example of the style, and then goes on to tell what that “bag lady” is like.

Pros and cons are listed for each, but don’t take them too seriously, because everyone is different! A fun little extra in the book is that certain bags, like the Hermès Kelly Bag, give examples of the famous women who tote such fabulous arm candy. Yes, the one mentioned for the Hermès bag is in fact the über-fabulous Victoria Beckham.
