Look Cute (and Stay Comfy) While Camping!

I’m going camping in a week and have no idea what to bring. Can you help me out?

Taking to the woods can be totally fun, but you’ve gotta be prepped for anything. Stuff your duffle bag with all the usual vacay musts (bras, panties, swimsuit, toiletries, clothes for going out to din...if you’ll be near civilization). Then, stock up on gear to get you through rain, sun and hiking expeditions. Keep reading for our guide to forest-y faves.

Bust out the Basics
Now’s not the time to go for a full-on fashion show. Be sure you pack shorts or pants that are easy to move around in, but that you won’t worry about getting dirty. Looser-fitting tanks, tees and polos work up top.

If you’re gonna be active, bring along a sports bra, shorts, lightweight pants and a tee shirt that wicks.

Protect Your Tootsies
If hiking is on the to-do list, you have to pack sturdy sneakers or hiking boots. Don’t forget plenty of extra socks, cute shoes for hanging around the campsite and flip-flops to keep your feet protected in the shower.

Anticipate the Elements
When you’re heading to the woods, you gotta be prepped for anything. Tote along a fleece, a rain jacket, sunglasses, jeans and a long-sleeve t-shirt. It can get chilly at night, so bring sweats or yoga pants to sleep in and for hanging around the campfire.

A hat is mandatory, along with sunscreen, bug spray and a water bottle. Don’t forget a sunny attitude!
