Fresh Fruit Kebabs
Get grillin’ with this fruit-astic fruit kebab. It’s a very simple way of serving up some sweet treats. Just make sure you have a parent around, those barbeque grills are a little tough to tackle.
One bag marshmallows
One pint large strawberries, halved
One pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
One ripe mango, peeled and cut into chunks
One quarter cup lemon juice
Skewer the fruit and marshmallows, making sure to use only one or two marshmallows to keep mess at a minimum. Make sure to leave space on both ends to that you can easily old the skewers once they are cooked. Brush each kebob with lemon juice. Place on the grill in an area that is farthest away from the hottest part of the fire. Allow the fruit to get a little golden brown and the marshmallows to toast. Probably about 45 seconds on each side.
