The secret to the *perfect* summer body

Sun is shining, summer is here and the pressure to have your summer bod is on.

But here's a little secret: your summer body? It's just your body, during the months of June, July and August. Every single body is a summer body, because our bodies carry us through every month of the year—including the sunshiney ones. 

However, there's no denying that with the summer months come many potentially body-conscious activities, like swimming or hiking. Simply due to the heat, you're probably wearing fewer layers than in the winter or fall, and the shape of your body is more visible. So often, we can feel insecure about the shape or size of our physical form, when we should really be thanking it for helping us to complete all the summer fun on our to-do list.

However, insecurity isn't fixed overnight, so if you have further qualms about how to dress this summer, look no further for the mental checklist you need:

+ Is it comfortable?

+ Do I like this piece of clothing?

+ Am I wearing it because I want to, or because I feel like I have to?

+ Does this outfit make me happy?

The most important thing about your body this summer is that you love it for all it can do. That is all that matters, regardless of shape or size. You got this, girl!
