How To: Cutely cuff your pants

Get your jeans ‘n’  khakis set for summer in zero time. Yep, cuffing if absolutely back and we’ve got the tips on how to make it look sweet (not sloppy).  Here are two ways to rock the look right.

Folding

This style works best with straight leg boyfriend jeans. Fold up the hem an inch or two above your ankle- any higher and it’ll hit the widest part of your calves, which makes them seem larger. When you’ve folded them just right, iron the cuff to stay in place all day. Voila! It’s that easy to turn a forgettable pair of jeans into a much cuter statement piece. Pair with a feminine blouse and metallic sandals to balance out the loose, tomboy silhouette of the pants.

Rolling
Back in the early 90s, rolled jeans were the hippest thing--and this trend is coming back in a big way. But forget off-shoulder shirts and big hair. Make this style modern by switching in some cool straight leg chinos and pairing them with a detailed tank and oxford shoes. The trick to rolling is to hold the fabric to your ankle before you start pushing the hem up your leg. Roll two or three times and secure with a safety pin (be careful!). This results in a thinner cuff. Retro cute.
