Beat the heat in style

Summer might be winding down, but the heat still seems to be cranking up. Getting caught outside can mean sweating and frizzy hair (ugh), but staying in your room all week just isn’t an option. Keep cool and stay fashionable with these easy tips for dressing for fun under the scorching sun. (Just don’t forget the sweat-proof SPF!)

Lighten Up
Choose thinner fabrics to keep you breezy in even the most terrible temps. A barely-there fabric like chiffon in a pale color allows for more coverage without adding to the horrible heat. Try a floaty top over cotton shorts. Classy and cute!

Hair Hero
Humidity means sweating, and nothing gets to hair like a hot day. Curls going crazy? Stop trying to tame or straighten your strands – one step outside and they’ll frizz in a second. Instead, grab a chic hat to disguise your bad hair day as a sweet style statement. Not your thing? Try a printed headwrap as an equally adorable alternative.

Water Works
Water bottles are your new best friend. Heat waves can be dangerous – getting too thirsty is a whole lot easier when you’re sweating all the H2O you drink, so bring agua along as an accessory to combat dehydration on the go.
