Cell Phone Elbow

Can’t stop chattin’?
If you’re loggin’ hours on the cell, ya may start feelin’ some aches and pains in your elbow and hand. The Baltimore Sun recently reported on “cell phone elbow,” which is popping up in more people (it leads to numbness in your pinky). It’s caused by having your elbow bent and your neck crooked to one side.

But it’s not just talking that’s causing the problems. Lots of texting can leave fingers aching because of the quick, repetitive action. Eek!

Wanna curb the pain or eliminate your risk?

Talk on speakerphones, so your elbow isn’t always bent

Use AIM instead of texting

Switch hands and stretch out while chatting

Blog it out…What do you think? Do you ever feel aches and pains after talkin’ on the phone for hours? Do you digits hurt after texting a ton?
