Sweet on the Valentine's Day Soundtrack

Love is in the air! Did you catch the all-star cast of Valentine’s Day this weekend?

Whether you did, or are still holding on purchasing a ticket stub, the Valentine’s Day soundtrack (in stores now) is off the charts. We took listen and just had to share our thoughts…

The first song on the album is a total hit, and no wonder, because T-Swift sings it. As always, Tay rocks out to her new hit single “Today Was A Fairytale,” which she also performed at the Grammys this year. It’s country glam, and totally Taylor. But of course, she wasn’t the only artist with a new song on this album. Jewel introduced her jam “Stay Here Forever”—the classic, cute love song sound with loveable lyrics to match.

Another Valentine hit is “Amor” by Ben E. King. It’s got a very old-timy flair (in a good way!) that exuberates a late ’50s happy, beachy mood. It’s totally catchy and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Trust us!

Leighton Meester also delivers with “Somebody To Love,” featuring Robin Thicke. It’s pop beat that gives you a subtle, but passionate, tale of love and romance.

Anju Ramapriyam also brought the fun and excitement out of the good old classic “Signed Sealed Delivered I’m Yours,” putting an Indian pop twist on the Stevie Wonder original, making you wanna just get up and dance!

There are, obviously, some current classics like Taylor Swift’s “Jump Then Fall” and “Say Hey (I Love You),” the tropical rasta-reggae beat by Michael Frantic & Spearhead added to the soundtrack’s track list, too.

Gosh, we just love Valentine’s Day, don’t you?!

Be sure to check out the Valentine’s Day soundtrack and let us know your fave artist on the album.
