Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure Soundtrack hits stores today. Ashley Tisdale shines as our fave spotlight-loving diva trying to make it in the Big Apple. Here are the eight reasons we heart Sharpay and her fabulous new soundtrack!
1. We heart the message. "Gonna Shine," the hit single is positively overflowing with good vibes! Hear this song and it’ll be impossible not to
want to seize the day.
2. We heart being fabulous. "Fabulous" celebrates the finer things in life—and who doesn’t need more fab? “To help her get along she needs a little fabulous, is that so wrong?” Nope, all in moderation, Shar.
3. We heart the duet. Nothing like belting out a duet with your BFF! In the movie, Sharpay’s star sidekick is her presh pooch Boi. "My Boi and Me" is song they share where this unstoppable pair takes on the world.
4. We heart the classics! "Walking On Sunshine" is another super up-beat jam that takes us back. So thanks for including a throwback Sharpay.
5. We always heart a good remix. One word: Baby. Can there be a hit album release without the Biebs having some sort of influence these days? We think not! Lucas Grabeel croons and raps to "Baby" in the track six remix.
6. We heart the Big Apple. Who doesn’t daydream of making it big in NYC? "New York’s Best Kept Secret" is what the movie is all about.
7. We heart shining. This soundtrack will get ya in the mood to shine no matter what the occasion—whether you’re working out, prepping for a test, or cruising in the car, update your summer playlists with these jams for a guaranteed good mood.
8. We heart Peyton. OK, so he’s not really part of the soundtrack, but Austin Butler is a total babe! The aspiring film student that bails Sharpay out of several sticky city situations and becomes her shoulder to lean on is too cute for words.
