FIRST LISTEN: Taylor Swift’s “Christmas Tree Farm"

Time to update your holiday playlist! Taylor Swift *just* dropped a brand-new track called "Christmas Tree Farm," and if you're a true Swiftie, you know that the song is inspired by the fact that Taylor grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Reading, Pennsylvania. Taylor's written a lot of songs about her childhood—fan favorites "Best Day" and "Never Grow Up" are among them—and "Christmas Tree Farm" follows the tradition with ultra personal lyrics about her life. "I actually did grow up on a Christmas tree farm," Taylor wrote on Facebook. "In a gingerbread house, deep within the yummy gummy gumdrop forest. Where, funnily enough, this song is their national anthem."

The song's video is basically a love letter to Taylor's childhood, as it's packed with home videos of young Taylor on Christmas (the part where she gets a guitar as a young girl? Tears!).

Watch the video here:

Taylor teased the song yesterday before dropping it at midnight. She even joked that her cats helped her make the decision to release the track.

What do you think of "Christmas Tree Farm"?
