My BGF's girlfriend hates me


My BGF'S girlfriend hates me and I’m worried it will affect our friendship. I’ve tried to be nice, but nothing works. I even invited her over to my house, but she left two hours later. 

A guy friend’s GF hates you? Not too surprising. Unfortunately, lotsa girls have a hard time trusting their BFs with female friends. After all, relationships often spring out of friendship.

Try to understand where your pal’s girlfriend is coming from in order to be sensitive to her concerns. But remember that you haven’t done anything wrong. Perhaps talking to either your friend or his girlfriend and tackling the issue head-on is the best way to go. Explain that you are not a romantic threat, and that you hope all three of you can be friends, or at least get along.

If you don’t think jealousy is the issue, talk to your friend, and get his opinion. He probably has some insight into the inner workings of his GF’s mind, and maybe he can tell you what’s up and how to get on her good side. Best of luck babe!
