Make your own secret garden with this DIY marbled planter

Remember when marbled nail polish was all the rage? You’d dip your fingers into cups of water and nail polish and get incredibly cool and unique designs. Well, we took that technique to the great outdoors with this uber-chic planter DIY and had to share. From funky marble designs to bright color picks, there's no better way to do some planting than to spruce up your space with planted flowers in an adorably crafty pot.
Ready to make one? Get the how-to below!

What you’ll need:

  • Planters
  • Nail polish
  • A large bucket

What you’ll do:

Step 1: Fill the large bucket about halfway with water. Let the water get to room temperature before you start your project.

Step 2: Pour in a lot of nail polish. You’ll want to let it spread out in the water as much as possible. If it doesn’t spread on its own, give the bucket a shake or move it around with a toothpick.

Step 3: Dip the pot in the water. If you dip it in on its side, the polish will better adhere to all sides of the pot. If your planter isn’t covered in one dip, no problem! Just dip it in again.

Step 4: Allow the planter enough time to dry before putting it to use. Plant whatever you like: flowers, succulents and herbs.
