How to host the cutest cowgirl-inspired party

Ready to kick off your summer with the perfect Wild West bash? Dust off those cowboy boots, because we just planned the cutest cow-print party of the szn.

The decor

Brighten up this backyard shindig by adding pops of pink and blue to black and white balloon arrangements (and, yes—cow print *does* count as a color). Deck out your spread with a gingham tablecloth and knotted napkins, then ask your girls to show up in their Wild West best—just no hats at the table, please.

The food

Keep things simple yet satisfying with all the BBQ basics: grilled chicken and veggie burgers, baked beans, potato salad and cornbread. Glow up your lemonade with a homemade blackberry simple syrup and enjoy with an on-theme cowgirl cake.

The agenda

Before the big day, snag each guest their own potted succulent, as well as paints, brushes and stencils (we like Craft Smart's Pastel 16 Color Matte Acrylic Paint set, $10, for all your artsy ambitions). After you've decorated your cactus cuties, mosey on over to a wide-open space and kick off a bracket-style cornhole tournament among your crew. End your evening with a fireside sing-along inspired by country music queens like Dolly, Shania and Kacey. Yee's? Haw'ed.
