Should I use body spray or perfume?

There are a *ton* of different fragrance products on the market, and it can be super confusing to tell the difference and figure out which items are right for you. I mean, what even is the difference between body spray and perfume? Aren't they the same thing?

Well, they sort of are! According to differencebetween.net, body spray is a less concentrated form of perfume. Both products are created with a mixture of extracts and oils that give off pleasant smells, and body spray simply adds more water to the mixture than perfume does. Because body sprays are more diluted, they are typically less expensive and can be applied directly to the body. On the other hand, perfume should be used only on clothing and not sprayed onto your skin. The scents of body spray usually fade faster than perfume and can be more regularly applied.

Now that you know the few differences between body sprays and perfumes, you may be wondering where to find these products and test them out for yourself. Luckily, we have you covered! Here are some of our all-time fave body sprays and perfumes:

Body Sprays

Glossier

Known for promoting natural cosmetics that help your true beauty shine through, Glossier is an extremely popular brand all across the world. Its perfume fragrance is unique from other options on the market because it claims to react differently on everyone's body. The sweet musky notes create "the ultimate personal fragrance" and make this a must-have or your perfume collection. This perfume actually won an award in 2018 from The Fragrance Foundation, so you know it's gotta be good! Glossier, $60

Ariana Grande

Our fave pop star has her own line of perfume that you can try for yourself at Ulta Beauty. The packaging on these products is *beyond* glam, and the sweet scents are perfect for everyday use that will last throughout your busy day. Juicy Couture

Viva La Juicy will always have a special place in my heart because it was the first real perfume I ever wore when I was 13 years old. This scent will never go out of style and is guaranteed to get you tons of compliments from people around you. It's available just about everywhere, and one of the most classic perfumes for girls to ever exist (I may be a little biased, but I promise you won't regret buying this one!) Kohl's, $35
