GL hangs backstage with Popland's Sara Cobo
After
leaving her small town to be a photographer for a celebrity gossip
website, 18-year-old Carla soon learns that being on the inside of
the VIP scene isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Popland
is MTV Tr3s’ second teen soap opera to feature emerging talent from
Latin America. And, all you Spanish-savvy sweeties rejoice: with 70
one-hour episodes airing Monday-Friday starting this week, it’s
bound to be juicy and loaded with tons of celeb guest appearances.
Sara Cobo, who plays Carla, says she loves her character because she refuses to let anything get in the way of her dreams. The sky is the limit for Carla, and as a girl who knows what she wants, she doesn’t hesitate to try and make it to the top. Sara’s message to young girls is similar to Carla’s personality: fearlessly follow your dreams and always be your unique self.
We got a chance to catch up with Sara on the Popland set, where she spilled deets on everything from her character to her super cute co-stars.
