China Anne McClain spills behind-the-scenes scoop on A.N.T. Farm


A.N.T. Farm returns for Season 3 tomorrow night on Disney Channel and we’re so excited! In the new season, musical prodigy Chyna Parks (played by China Anne McClain) and her besties, Olive, Fletcher, Angus and cheerleader Lexi, move away from home to attend Advanced Natural Talents (A.N.T.) boarding school.

Wondering what's gonna go down in tomorrow’s big one-hour premiere? Well billionaire former child star, Zoltan Grundy, announces the chance for Webster High students to audition and attend the exclusive A.N.T. school. So, naturally, Chyna and all her BFFs audition for a spot. Do you think they’ll make it? Or do you think they’ll get cut? You’ll have to tune in tomorrow night at 8 p.m. ET/PT to find out.

We’re so excited for A.N.T. Farm’s return that we chatted with the very own China Anne McClain to find out her fave things about the new season! Check it out…

 

GL: What’s your favorite thing about your character Chyna in A.N.T. Farm?

China Anne: She is way more talkative than I am. She’s able to stand up for herself, and she’s just really confident.

 

Which Season 3 scene was your favorite to film?

I don't want to say too much, but there is a scene where I have to sing and it's kind of like a music video, but I'm playing a bunch of different instruments so it's really cool.

 

If you could snag one thing of Chyna’s right now, what would you want to take?

Definitely all of her jewelry. Every time I go out on the stage [to film], the jewelry that wardrobe brings me...I just want it all so bad.

 

Why should we get excited about A.N.T. Farm Season 3?

It’s way different than Seasons 1 and 2. The A.N.T.’s have grown up a little bit and it's really, really different. The episodes are way bigger and more fun!

 

One more thing China Anne told us? “There’s actually a secret special guest in the new season. I can’t say much, but it’s a guy and he’s really funny!” Any guesses on who it might be?
