Blush Much? Podium Frenzy
I was sitting with my classmates at a school assembly. Our guest speaker was calling on people to come down and talk about how to improve our school. I had my hand raised and the speaker picked me to come down and talk. Well little did I know that he was pointing to another kid behind me. When I got up to the podium, the speaker said in front of the whole school, "Did you just come down here because you felt like talking?" I hurried back to my seat while everyone stared at me. I was humiliated in front of everyone, including my teachers. After that, everyone was asking me why I went down to speak. It was so embarrassing!
