*These* are the BEST jobs for girls under 16

Sometimes your allowance just doesn't cut it, but let's face it–babysitting and dog sitting are not exactly the most stable forms of cash flow. But while getting a part-time job can be hard for girls who aren't 16 yet, that doesn't mean there aren't options. Check out our round-up of the best jobs for younger money-hungry babes:

Referee/Umpire

If you play and love sports, why not make some extra cash on the sidelines by becoming a soccer, lax or basketball ref for a little league? Cute kids and a chance to be outside make for a seriously fun job.

Cashier/Bagger

Get a job at your local supermarket as a cashier or bagger on the weekends. All you need are good customer service skills and some basic math, and hey–you might get a discount.

Restaurant Hostess

If you like fast-paced work, the restaurant environment is for you. Bonus: free food!

Lifeguard

If you love to swim, try taking classes to become a lifeguard at a gym or country club. Odds are they will have an indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool, so it is a good job for any time of the year.

Still stuck? Here are some of the most young chica-friendly businesses:

  • Chick-Fil-A
  • Burger King
  • Taco Bell
  • Pizza Hut
  • Starbucks
  • KFC
  • Toys R Us
  • Wegmans

Keep in mind that in different states, special documents are required if you are under 18. Check out your local government webpage to find out more.
