Bucket list! 13 things to do before 2013

Christmas is over. Your family has decamped. And now it's just you, waiting for the biggest, sparkliest moment of the year: Midnight on 12/31. But wait just a second! There is a ton to do before the ball drops on New Year's Eve. We'll get ya started with our end-of-2012 bucket list:
Master something new, like making your best friend's mom's ah-mazing marshmallow fluff brownies.
Do something that scares you...like asking out your crush. Go on, we triple dog dare you!
Throw a dance party! Task number one: compile a list of classics you boogied to all year long, then rock out.

Recap the year. Spend an afternoon considering what you accomplished this year, then put it all together in a scrapbook, a journal, even a time capsule.
Embrace something that embarrasses you. Like how your mom loves giving you a hug when she drops you off at school. She's your mom and, sigh, she loves you. Obviously.
Tell your best friend something you've been keeping a secret. Like how you've been crushing on her crush for, like, forever.
Come to terms with something you've been avoiding, like confronting a frenemy about the so-not-cool rumor she started before break.
Watch a movie (OK, or TV show) that's been nominated for a major award. Who's gonna be in the know come Oscar Sunday? This girl!
Arm your sib, bud or parent with a camera, dress up in your glammest outfit and take a ton of snaps. Hey, sometimes a girl just needs a rockin' new profile pic.
Support something worthwhile. We're thinking throwing a paper snowflake party to benefit the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting, or volunteering at an animal shelter adopt-a-thon.
Write thank-you notes for all those awesome gifts you got this year. Just 'cause it's a nice thing to do.
Bake a triple batch of cookies. Bring one to someone in your neighborhood who's in a tough patch. Bring another to a friend you adore. And keep the third at home, 'cause your family totally deserves 'em, right?
Shake up your look. A new haircut, bold cateyes, a hot pink lip, nails DIYed to the max--pick a new 'do and go all out!
Now tell us: What's on your bucket list?
