P.S. Never heard of white elephant? Here's how you do it:  

1. Everyone brings an inexpensive, wrapped gift to the party. 

2. Each participant draws a number out of a hat. That's the present order.  

3. Number one picks the present they want and unwraps it. Number two can then decide whether to pick a new, still-wrapped present or take one of the unwrapped gifts, and so on until everyone has a present.
