Pretty Ribbon Headbands

Fun and Easy-To-Do Crafts To Keep Your Little Tots Busy! Who knows, you might actually have some fun, too! Remember to keep kids in their playroom or in easy clean up areas like the kitchen. Glue on Mrs. Smith’s brand new Persian rug is a recipe for disaster!

And always, always help with sharp scissors or other tools that can potentially hurt wee ones. If kids are super small, try doing an assembly line. They can decorate and glue while you cut and tie.

Pretty Ribbon Headbands

What You’ll Need:

• grosgrain ribbon
• steam iron
• tacky glue
• ribbed elastic
• safety scissors
• needle
• thread
• decorative buttons

What You’ll Do:

1. Cut the ribbon into x amount of lengths for each headband. (Measure each kiddie's head beforehand.)
2. Fold both ends of the ribbons under a half inch, and iron into place. Use dabs of glue to secure folds. Let dry completely.
3. Cut a string of elastic and form a loop. Sew the ends of the loops onto the underside of one end of the ribbon.
4. Sew a button onto the topside of the other end of the ribbon. Loop the elastic around the button to form headband.
