Ballroom Dancing

I don't watch a ton of T.V. But So You Think You Can Dance, America's Best Dance Crew and Dancing with the Stars? Love them! 

Have you ever watched Dancing with the Stars and wished you could look as amazing as those dancers? I know I have! Now that summer is here, all of us girls are trying to get into shape. But if you're like me, running just doesn't cut it.

During my dance class at school, my teacher had a ballroom instructor come in to teach us how to jive, samba and tango. At first I felt really awkward trying to get my body to move as naturally as hers. After a while, I was having so much fun with the other girls in the class. It may feel weird at first, but you will get the hang of it. And don't let those quick feet fool you—it's harder than it looks. Plus, you have to wear high heels.
If you're looking for a fun summer workout, I would totally recommend ballroom dancing. It's def not just a workout for your legs; it helps tone your core, strengthen all of your muscles and improve your posture.

Grab a bunch of your friends to take the class with you. You'll have a great workout and an even better time!
