Must List

Need advice? These podcasts will make you feel like you're talking to your BFF

Struggling with a toxic friendship? Need pointers on your next move with your crush? Your BFF has your back with amazing advice—but what if your BFF isn't around?

It's time to break out the advice podcast.

Traditionally ranging from 30 to 90 minutes in length, advice podcasts can be found on any subject imaginable. But when you're looking for guidance on the same level as your go-to gal pal, it's best to listen to a free-format lifestyle podcast. Talking about all the most important topics in a girl's life (fashion, Tiktok trends, crushes, pop culture, name it), these pods will make you feel like you're having a convo with your closest confidante. And lucky for you, we've rounded up some of our faves.

The Moments Podcast with Lexi Hidalgo

Florida-grown TikTok and Instagram influencer Lexi Hidalgo created The Moments Podcast after her viral "coffee talk" videos prompted many of her followers to ask for more advice content. She is well known for her authenticity and positive outlook on life (if you're in need of some optimism, Lexi's got you). Every episode is titled based on specific moments in life, featuring everything from "Moments in Rediscovering Yourself" to "Moments in Red Flags." She typically covers things like mental and physical health, self-worth, travel and relationships.

This pod is a must-listen if you're: struggling with body image, in need of a boost of optimism, wanting to live in the moment

What We Said Podcast with Jaci Marie Smith and Chelsey Jade Curtis

Content creators Jaci Marie Smith and Chelsey Jade Curtis have been BFFs since high school, and their podcast is total bestie goals. What We Said began back in 2018 with the goal to inspire and entertain—and they have done just that. With content spanning everything from relationships and health and wellness to all the cutest new TikTok beauty and lifestyle trends, these girls make every episode feel like a sleepover convo. And, tbh, we wish were invited IRL.

This podcast is a must-listen if you're: in need of a good laugh, missing multiple besties at once

Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain

Emma Chamberlain is the ultimate Gen-Z *it* girl. So when she announced in the summer of 2020 that she would be releasing a new podcast where Anything Goes (as the title would suggest), we were beyond excited. Thankfully, her content is everything we could have ever wanted. Getting candid about celeb culture, mental health, social media and typical teen pressures, Emma reminds us that the world of an influencer isn't always what it seems. And don't worry—there's plenty of episodes on fashion and style advice too. Hello, it's Emma Chamberlain!

This podcast is a must-listen if you're: struggling with social media expectations, needing fashion advice

Got your head in the clouds? It's OK girl—so does Lexie. A self-proclaimed "daydreamer," Youtuber Lexie Lombard has used her podcast @lexie as a haven for all the girls who can spend hours talking about the same topic. Based almost entirely on questions from her followers, the podcast revolves around advice and recommendations. Relationship convos? Yup. Honest talks about stress and burnout? Check. Book recs? Of course!

Gals on the Go with Danielle Carolan and Brooke Miccio

New York-based besties Danielle Carolan and Brooke Miccio get hilariously real on their lifestyle pod, Gals on the Go. Aiming to "pull back the curtain" on the deceptive nature of social media, the girls aim to hold raw, open conversations about all things that happen beyond the Insta post. Their podcast has covered everything from beauty routines and girl problems to dealing with work-life balance since its launch in 2018. The gals may be "on the go," but they will *always* make time for an in-depth convo.

This podcast is a must-listen if you're: dreaming of living in NYC, a fan of Tiktok trends, learning to balance your life
