Totally normal, girlfriend! Plenty of chicks still feel a little weird setting a box of tampons down on the checkout. No worries; pads and tampons are a basic necessity and every girl has to buy them, whether there’s a cutie behind her or not.

I would put money down that you feel more awkward about buying them than anyone else does about seeing you buy them. Honestly, they prob aren’t paying much attention to what’s in your cart. While you can always ask mom or older sis to swing by and stock up on some stuff for you, you’re going to have to buy them sooner or later. You might as well get over the weirdness of the uncomfy sitch.

When you need to pick up supplies, try to make it a bigger trip. Grab some conditioner (if you’re running low), snatch some milk for mom and swing by to nab some much needed new pencils for class. Add on some other items you’ve been meaning to get, and it will take some of the embarrassment of buying your girly products.
